The Port Royal Home Port Regatta was traditionally a great summertime regatta with a history of participation by boaters in and around Redondo Beach. Since 2023, the regatta has been designated as an ASMBYC High Point race and is now known as the Port Royal Pirate Regatta! The annual High Point Series consists of 12 races, six races each from each of our two harbors, King Harbor and Marina del Rey. The regatta will include two spinnaker classes (if we get a minimum of 3 registered boats per class), a mariner (non-spinnaker) class, and a One Design (Cal 20) class (if we get a minimum of 3 registered boats). This is a “Pirate” regatta so come dressed as a pirate for a chance to win our spirit award!

On race day, we will be providing coffee for racers during the informal skippers meeting from 11:00-noon at the clubhouse; and will be hosting an award ceremony at the club following the race. Registration will be online using the RMS system. Come and join us for the fun!
